The purpose of this website is to inform and engage the public and agencies in the process to document the potential environmental impacts of the Harvey Field Runway Improvement Project.
Harvey Field (the Airport) is a privately owned, public use, general aviation reliever airport located in the city of Snohomish, Washington. An airport master plan completed in 2018 identified projects that are needed to comply with current FAA runway safety and design standards. The proposed runway improvements include, but are not limited to:
The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) is the lead federal agency for preparation of the Environmental Assessment (EA) in compliance with National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA) as amended (42 United States Code [U.S.C.] § 4321 et seq.) and Council on Environmental Quality (CEQ) Regulations for Implementing the Procedural Provisions of NEPA (40 Code of Federal Regulations Parts 1500-1508), FAA Order 1050.1F: Environmental Impacts: Policies and Procedures, FAA Order 5050.4B: NEPA Implementing Instructions for Airport Actions, and other applicable local, state, and Federal laws.

A public meeting was held on Tuesday, May 14, 2024, 6:00 p.m. - 7:30 p.m. (Pacific Daylight Time) at the Harvey Field Hangar 15 Event Center, 9900 Airport Way, Snohomish, WA 98296 to provide an opportunity for interested members of the public to review the information contained in the Draft EA and provide comments.
